Prairie Pioneer Days – Killarney Agricultural Grounds
Experience farming the old-fashioned way at Prairie Pioneer Days and you will appreciate the changes that have taken place over the last century. Prairie Pioneer Days is hosted by the Turtle Mountain Flywheel Club and will be held on July 7, 8, 2012. Fairgoers can enjoy the threshing demonstrations, log sawing and machinery displays. There are a variety of displays including a toy show, blacksmith shop, food, and entertainment. On July 8th the Sunday afternoon parade is held in front of the grandstand. Participants show off their favourite antique farm implements for the finale. Check out the Heritage Village, the Heritage House and Stationary Engine Museum and learn about our rural heritage and prairie history.
