Postal Strike
As of November 15, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are on strike, impacting Canada Post services. During this labour disruption, Canada Post will not be picking up, processing or delivering any mail, affecting mail services. Residents, businesses and community groups should use alternative delivery services for any mail being sent to the Municipality of Killarney Turtle-Mountain. Items can be received by staff in-person during regular business hours (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) at the Municipal Office at 415 Broadway Ave.
It is important to note, property owners and residents are still responsible for on-time property tax and water payments, by their due date. Regular penalties will apply for late payments. Phone (204) 523-7247 if you need to know your account balance or need assistance signing up for e-billing for utility. Failure to receive tax, utility and/or accounts receivable invoices does not excuse the responsibility for payment.
